Throughout our journey, he shared fascinating insights into Bali’s culture, history, and even some mysterious black magic stories. This gave us a whole new perspective on Bali beyond just what we see online, allowing us to experience its deep cultural and historical roots firsthand. He also recommended authentic local restaurants, ensuring we had the best culinary experiences. With his humor and fluent English, every ride was an absolute delight. A special mention to 𝐏𝐚𝐤 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐠, our driver and day guide in 𝐍𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚, who not only turned an Avanza into a 4x4, but also navigated the crazy mountain roads like a pro – thrilling yet safe! Despite our broken Malay, he made communication fun, always making sure we had an amazing time. Wearing just slippers, he led us through various scenic spots, even on steep and slippery paths, showing his dedication and experience. He was incredibly thoughtful, reminding us to be careful on tricky terrains, especially during the morning rain. Another huge thanks to 𝐏𝐚𝐤 𝐄𝐤𝐚, our 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐉𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫, a young and energetic guide who made our sunrise adventure even better. In the chilly morning air, he prepared thick blankets to keep us warm while we enjoyed the breathtaking views. Not only did he drive us safely through the rugged volcanic terrain, but he also took stunning photos of us, capturing every special moment. Overall, this trip was 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬, and we owe it all to 𝐏𝐚𝐤 𝐄𝐧𝐚 & 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 for making it so memorable. Mr Ena recommended a few very nice local restaurants...i like the crispy duck, it was so delicious. I wasn't able to accomplish my heritage trip to Ulun Danu Batur because of a praying ceremony but Mr Ena managed to replace with another heritage temple (Water Temple Pura Tirta Empul) and a brief stop at Tegalalang rice terrace which were not in my itinerary. Overall, a very good experience exploring Bali heritage sites. Will come back for the waterfalls, beaches and sunrise view in the future.

This is the second time we’ve engaged Pak Ena for our Bali trips, and both have been wonderful experiences for us! He was a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide who was able to cater to our requests and needs. He has so much passion for his job and beautiful country, which we truly appreciate. Will definitely recommend him to others and we look forward to engaging him again the next time we come :)
